Today it was just RC R, Greg K and me. We met at the Ballinger Way Starbucks at 7:17 and hit the hills right there. Each one was 7-10 minutes long and we did 4.5 of them. Nice. This feels like the length we need and I also felt pretty tired.

Greg was riding well and hit the top first each time. My bike was feeling sluggish and coupled with my not so peppy legs I was pressed to stay in contact.

This afternoon I decided to give my bike some TLC and overhauled the hubs and installed a new drivetrain. Yes! I even oiled the jockey wheels – man did it need it! I also installed new tires, these lame-ass Vittoria Rubinos are sliding all over the damn place and have been worn pretty thin. Not getting them again.

The last three miles going home were s l o w . . .

Surprisingly, I did not need or want any food today. That smoothie was a bit much to begin with and once it settled I was fine. I just had a few sips off of my nuun bottle and was good to go.
