Went to the gym this morning but it was so half assed... after this much time off it's 1) hard to get back at it and 2) my leg is still pretty darn uncomfortable doing day-to-day movements.
I had a great but tough Seattle Running Club Cross Country workout this evening on the other hand. And on the way to work I saw this which is pretty cool.
Bike Share is coming to Seattle and the UW!
The XC workout was 3 x 1.5 miles along Lake WA Blvd. The first one was tough, the second one was okay and the third one was pretty hard. The wind was blowing and swirling so one minute you had a tailwind and the next it was blowing in your face. Although I felt like my times and pace were all over the place I was pretty darn consistent. I know we went out slower on the third interval but I really closed fast the last 200 m. It averages out obviously.
I ran with Herbert Sitz who is a year of two older than I am and very compatible in terms of speed. I'm super excited that he is in the club AND that he shows up for these workouts.
