Kind of a big, Martin spends time on himself sort of day today!
First I hit the trails with Todd Morse Tucker, then I rode to work and after work I finally got a massage from Tucker Roy and then attended a Trigger Point clinic put on by Brian Morrison who owns Fleet Feet Sports up on Capitol Hill. Nice.
On Cougar we started mellow and as I warmed up we only sped up a little bit. This way I had something left for the 'sprint' home from 20-minute tree. If you look at my heart rate it proves I was working pretty hard and I think this is my PR for those last two ish miles. I also think this might be my second fastest time on the loop.
It is getting DARK this early in the morning. We made it without headlamps today but this can't work much longer.
Getting a massage was awesome. Tucker really knows his craft. The Trigger Point clinic was good in that it reminded me maintenance is important! And that just stretching will not cover all the bases.
