I just had about as good of an experience on the treadmill as you can have.
Today marked the 3rd consecutive day or of running, the 5th consecutive day of doing something with my legs and the 6th day of zero knee pain. I feel like I need to throw myself a little party.
It's slow but it's progress!
When will I feel like I'm 'back'? I hate to think that far ahead but here I go anyway...
Back to 'running' would be averaging under 7:00 for a shorter (6 miles?) run outdoors and being able to run 10+ miles on trails with no pain.
Back to where I was in terms of fitness prior to this injury is something I don't even want to contemplate right now. I tend to get all worked up over ridiculous shit so best to leave that alone at least until I'm able to run trails regularly again.
For now I'm just excited to take this next step.
