Met up with Nelson J and Jim K today; good times.
For some reason I was leery of the runners (I suppose most sane people would be) so I managed to sneak in 1.5 walkers before I saw Nelson and Jim coming down towards me. We walked one more flight and then it was ON. Or whatever, I just like to exaggerate stuff for effect.
As usual the first runner felt like dirt. The second was slightly better and then I started to get tired on the third. Sheesh. At the top of the fourth runner I was barely able to breath, my throat felt like it was about the diameter of those stirring straws they give you at coffee shops. It did not seem to matter if I walked it off or just sat down and sucked wind, I could hardly get any oxygen in my lungs.
I said goodbye to Jim (Nelson had already taken off) and walked two more flights just for good measure.
